Adrian Peterson available

Cut by Washington

Imagine having Bell, Peterson, and Gore in the backfield five years ago?

I remember being at Adrian Peterson’s first game (preseason). His first carry he tricked somebody.

He’s better, more versatile, and younger than Frank Gore. But Gore is a Gase guy so it won’t happen.

I'll just say this:

We're going to really regret it if we don't sign him and then a time machine is invented.

If we had a time machine, we wouldn't need old Adrian, just go back and steal young Adrian.

he is not a good fit but he is still a million times the player ballage is

AP has been in the league since 2007 and racked up over 14,000 career rushing yards.  Yet even if he rushed for 1,000+ yards each of his final seasons in the league, he'd need to play 4+ more seasons in the league to pass Emmitt Smith in yardage.  Incredible.

He would be the best pure running back on the team.  He doesn't catch the ball as an outlet and doesn't block at all.  He would likely get Sam killed on play action.

When you see all these RB's that are aging it makes you respect what John Riggins did even more. What was he like 34 years old in the SB when he ran all over Miami you know the year we got ****ed in the mud bowl by that filthy "original cheater" Don Shula

All we'd need is a time machine, and then we'd be all set in the backfield!

Well Smith played 13 seasons, AP 10.    226 games to 164.

Smith played on much better teams, with a lead, behind better OLs.

Smith was a hell of a player, both were

Apparently Antonio Gibson, who I was very high on before the draft, is coming on strong there and made AP expendable.  They drafted him higher than I expected, top of the 3rd, but if he can give them 500 yards on the ground and in the air, he'll have been well worth it.  Should be fun to watch.

Child's play. The real competition is who can you understand better with marbles in their mouth, Emmitt Smith or Shannon Sharpe? But see, there's no marbles . . . so, forfeit?
