Jets need a few surprises during this 2020 season

Every year in the NFL players come out of nowhere & burst onto the scene as legitimate future NFL stars. Of course I'm not including our Jets as we have seen some of the worst drafting maybe ever in the NFL over the last 10 years.

The consensus star was a freaking box Safety & he was picked 6th overall instead of 2 starting QBs in this league (Watson & Mahomes), when we didn't have a good QB ourselves. I'm thinking Joe Douglas would have traded back in that same position. Every year with Maccagnan it was the same story, "wow, can you believe he dropped to the Jets?".

We're never going anywhere until some of these picks start panning out. It's time we get our legit LT in Becton, free safety in Davis, our starting WR in Mims. We need a 2017 Saints type of draft. Plus Sam needs to show up this year & show real development, not these head scratching interceptions like he threw in Miami last year, though I will say I think he got hit more in that game then he's ever been hit & that's saying a lot. Just once it would be nice to start seeing some players since the days of Toon & Walker, Shuler, Byrd, Klecko. We're like the most boring team in football. It would be nice to say, yea I'm a Jet fan & instead of the usual response of sorry, have the response be that they look like they're a up & comer. The team that as playoffs roll around, they get labeled as the team you don't want to draw in the playoffs. It's been such a sh*tty 10 year run its bordering on ridiculous.
