Amazed. I’ve thought this since he choked against Indy in the 2018 Wildcard. Watson just doesn’t look like the same QB in these games where the pass coverage has him figured out & his back is against the wall. He doesn’t fight out of the corner strong enough. I see him just flinging this ball any where, I see him missing outside the hashes when his guy is fairly open, he made a few beautiful throws and I do acknowledge the Texans OL doesn’t look good. He use to be able to chuck the ball up to Hopkins and hope for a play but he can’t do that anymore.

Watson has absolutely benefited from having the best WR in the NFL as his first read his entire career so far Give Sam Deandre Hopkins and that OL he’s putting up top 5 fantasy numbers

GreekJet
I for one am completely amazed watching the KC offense. 85 percent of their plays worked to perfection tonight. With the Jets you could count on one hand the amount of times a play worked to perfection and when it did a yellow flag usually followed it.

The one flaw in his game is that he doesn’t do a good job of throwing the ball away. He takes too many sacks and he also takes unnecessary hits trying to run for meaningless yards. Biggs
I found the game depressingly boring. I've been looking forward to NFL football all year. Somehow with the sparse crowd and the events of this year, rather than exciting, it seemed like a none event. The NBA which I usually find uninteresting has taped into something with the small venue bubble. It just seems more authentic than a giant empty stadium. Hopefully more compelling games will change it. I usually love the fall and the start of the NFL season.

I was pretty bored with the game last night too, though I liked that there were actually fans there. I hope the Jet game will be interesting (without fans) or else I'm just going to treat the NFL as a sport to gamble on.
Smashmouth
So David Johnson seems to be back after a year lost to injury and last year where every defense basically focused on him and shut him down. I don't think teams will be able to do that with the Texans so I see a big comeback year for Johnson both running the ball and receiving the guy is a great receiver out of the back field. Question : While Johnson was running at a 7.0 YPC clip why didn't the Texans just run him down KC's throats which would have kept the ball out of Mahomes hands. So many teams have lost big games by not recognizing they could have controlled the game running the football (see last years SB) . I mean Johnson looked like the old Johnson yet he got 11 touches at RB and 3 via the pass. That's just stupid. I only watched the first half so Im not sure if anything happened but is all was well the only way Houston was winning that game was via DJ

It might have been a good idea to move NFL games to some High school fields instead of playing in those giant mostly empty stadiums. I've been tp a game in KC and the crowd experience is incredible. Last night it really just said we're still f***ed.

High school fields don’t have the infrastructure for an NFL broadcast, nor do they have the adequate lighting.

How many plays ran to perfection for the Browns last season? Not many, amirite? And to think Baker has an ALL-STAR cast of weaponz around him. Besides, the Texans were already down 14-7 early in the 2nd quarter, and meanwhile both David and Duke Johnson were each tended to on the sidelines with minor injuries midgame. Ground & pound wasn't really the best option. Just like it wasn't really a great option for the Titans or 49ers in last year's playoffs and Super Bowl.
