TuscanyTile2
Some fun facts (starting at 4:08): -In 11 of the 17 games Gase has been HC of NYJ, the team scored under 20 points -He has 8 double-digit losses -He's 2-5 against the AFC East -He's 2-7 on the road -In his last 25 road games (obviously goes beyond his Jets' tenure) his record is 5-20 "Another example of an Adam Gase team not showing up to play. They don't show up, especially on the road. They're brutally bad on the road."
Jet_Engine1
Matt is solid, and he's right about Gase.

Amongst the worst owners in the NFL.
CrazyCarl40
Peyton Manning planted Gase to keep the Jets from being good. Prove me wrong.

John Idzik and Mac MaCoffee also fooled the Johnsons so its not all that hard. The only good thing Gase has done in fact is getting rid of MaCoffee. Our offense looks like an old lady driving down the road as carefully as she can.

I bet Gase fed them the line about "coaching to where the game is going" and they were in awe.

jeremy2020
Gase is good guys, he had that Peyton Manningless year in Miami where his offense hit the heady height of being the 17th ranked offense in the league in 2016. His other years were 23rd, 28th, 26th, and 31st! That is a really good track record. How many people on this forum have ever had a 31st ranked offense in the NFL, huh?!!
Nixhead
Gase might know his football but he's a troll. His thinking lacks creativity. He's probably very OCD and his brain is stuck on the offense Peyton Manning ran way back when. Gase simply does not have the personality to be a successful head coach. Soon as Joe Douglas admits this truth we can all move on from Adam Gase and the sooner the better.
Prodigal Syndicate
I'm getting idzik/rex deja vu this season. Douglas threw out a garbage team, let our best players walk or traded, signed a bunch of journeymen to prove it deals and told Gase good luck. Difference is Rex was still pretty loved at the time so fans saw through it and both got fired. Gase getting fired wont get any backlash. This team is tanking, and I think both gase and Darnold are done after this season.
