Is there an NFL team that’s had more consistently horrible QB play, than us over the last decade?

Close, but the last time we had a 4000 yard passer was Joe Namath.

It really is quite impressive just how bad QBs have been for the Jets.

You’re nuts if you think Sunday even cracked the top 100

215 yards 1TD and 1 INT.  Sam didn’t even have the worst performance around the league Baker and Fitzy did significantly worse

They have invested more draft capital into the position than any other NFL team this decade

If hogan catches that TD at the end he has a 90 QB rating.

Remember those few weeks in 2015 that Fitzpatrick wasn't playing like sh*t and we had a healthy B. Marshall and E. Decker. We threw the ball and scored points, that was fun

How does Ryan Fitzputrid 6 pick game not ranked #1?

I was going to say "don't you mean 'pick 6'?" but then I remembered.  :(

Hurts worse that it was the first time in league history anyone passed for 4K. And we haven’t done it again since.

I went with the Geno 3 INT and 2 completions.

The Jets have had two competent QB seasons this decades- 2015 and 2017 (grizzled vets). The young QBs have been awful.

Nope.  I mean hell, even Blake Bortles had a 35 TD season for the Jaguars.

The fact that I can vividly remember each and every one of these games probably means I have cancer.

Most quarterbacks throw a pick 6.  Ryan Fitzpatrick is the only NFL Qb who can say threw a “6 Pick”

Sam had a bad game but compared to the endless parade of garbage we have seen 48 out of 53 years it wasn’t that bad

The only enjoyable football season in ten years. And we still got our hearts crushed.

We still don't know if Hackenberg is any good because we never saw him in a game.

You asked about the last decade.  I'm not sure how Brian Sipe figures into that.

In AAF debut, Christian Hackenberg showed why he never played a down in the NFL

The Alliance of American Football may have enjoyed a solid debut over the weekend, but it didn’t go so well for Christian Hackenberg. The former Penn State star and second-round pick of the New York Jets, who never played a regular season down in two-plus NFL seasons, struggled as his Memphis Express was shut out Sunday in its opener.

Hackenberg completed just 10 of 23 passes for 87 yards and an interception, plus he was sacked twice and flagged for intentional grounding, in Memphis’s 26-0 loss to the Birmingham Iron. With about four minutes left, he was lifted from the game in favor of backup quarterback Brandon Silvers, but not before Hackenberg left as big an impression with his potty mouth as he did with his spotty arm (warning: profanity)
