Man, we need to play against a defense like the Bengals.

That's awfully brave to assume the Jets offense wouldn't suck against them too

With Sam, I am not asking for Joe Montana. I AM ASKING FOR PROGRESS.

Well you better start asking for Trevor Lawrence instead.

Yes.  He's focusing on the forest.  You're nitpicking with the trees.

Hey, he has talent. He is going to be a good QB. He is having a so so game.

I mean the offensive talent for both QBs are head and shoulders above the jets. The browns skill players are legit. Even the bengals have an elite running back, A.J. green, Boyd, etc. Sam has Perriman and most likely berrios on Sunday. I mean wtf. This is year 3 of darnold, and the bengals in game 2 of burrow era have a better supporting cast.

It's almost like outside of about 4-5 QBs, every other player at the position is capable of looking like complete trash one week and an absolute star the next.

Not calling a QB sneak from the 1 there on 1st down with Baker will cost them the game.

If Burrow gets off the goal line, he can take it from them.

Big goalline stand for Cincy.  Wouldn't it be something if Burrow can drive them 99 yards to tie it up.

The offensive line was non-competitive in that game.

I think we would match up a lot better with them this year - but I wouldn't be confident in anything either

Cincy hadn't stopped Chubb all night to this point, and the D had to be totally gassed.  I don't blame the Browns for leaning on Chubb to get the score.

Good discussion.  You've presented a lot of interesting facts here.  I've completely changed my mind.

Totally understand that perspective...

But the Patriots usually called Brady's number in that spot for a reason.

I mean, if you're just going to sit on the bad plays without acknowledging the positives, you're going to find them without much trouble.  The celebration is adorable, however.  A rookie has rookie moments, film at 11!

Is Sam still younger than joe burrow?

Well he plays younger, so he's got that going for him.
