Quinnen Williams solid game today —

One tackle for a loss on a  broken play, and a the rest of plays where he's singled and does nothing on the pass rush. The few times they even his Garapolo it was somebody else, once with a safety and a corner blitzing, and you aren't doing that very often. HE'S  TERRIBLE. He's not Aaron Donald, or Hali Ngata or Kerry Jenkins. He has no motor. He's basically Albert Haynesworth without the early decent career that got him a big ass contract. Mike Devito, a D1AA guy was a better player than this guy.

Can't believe a hobbling Jimmy G is lighting it up

Yup.  I figured we would struggle to score points, but assumed the defense would play well against Jimmy G without Kittle or Samuel.  I guess we just suck in all phases of the game right now.

Through 6 quarters, opposing QBs have completed 75% of thier passes for almost 450 yards and 4 TDs, 0 picks.  With a defense that is mostly healthy.  Against Josh Allen and Jimmy Garoppolo.

Can't wait to see what Russel Wilson and Pat Mahomes do later this season.

True.

But clearly, what we need is Trevor Lawrence. He’ll fix everything.

Sam Darnold is NOT the ONLY problem

But a massive part of it.  Can this putz throw deep or what?   He looks like Pennington on a day when they wanted him to "keep it conservative".

Hey, not for nothing, but  Frank Gore is an immortal.  First ballot HOF.  You dream of having players of his caliber.

It doesn’t look any of JD’s “bargain” free agent acquisitions are worth anything.   Just a bunch of borderline roster players.   So far he’s added Becton and what else?

I'd say Becton alone should give you reason for optimism, especially since it would have been easy to argue at the time he could/should have gone a different direction (Wirfs or a WR).

It's hard to complain about the rest of his first draft class until we see them play.

Who is he throwing deep passes to? Complete void of talent.

His first two games have looked solid this season. He is starting to look like a viable nfl qb we will see as the season goes on but so far he has looked much improved and deserves some credit.

Takes more than two games to go from almost losing his starting job and being deemed a bust to in the argument for best QB in the league

Becton is a goddamn beast. And for reasons nobody can fathom, this guy insists on running up the gut. I don't get it at all. Here's one thing they shockingly got right, and they've managed to f__ that up too.

Just who should he be throwing deep to?

tired of this guy getting handjobs by most of the board.  This team is a Greek tragedy.

So the guy came in Rebuilt the OL (which is going to take time to develop) Traded for a boat load of draft picks and you are blaming this on him after Macc basically destroyed this roster and ignored the OL his entire tenure ?

JD cant play QB and he can't make up for all the injuries or the lack of preseason for what amounts to a complete over haul on offense other than 4 players. Plus a QB that even in the best circumstances still throws off his back foot and play's scared and refuses to step up in the pocket.

Bone headed Gase plays right into San Frans defense on the 4th and one rather than spreading out the field and having Darnold roll out for an easy dump pass or just run for the 1st.

This team is Horrific and its not JD's fault you can't fill every hole in one off season

He shot his way out of town.  I think its time to move on from the "Jets fans didn't want him" narrative.  He didn't want the Jets, especially when he found out they weren't going to hand him $18M+ per season.

Have you considered the reason he wanted out....was adam gase and joe Douglas?
