Why are we surprised that our defense is poor? Our 2 best defensive players  on the roster last year are gone. We may use the draft picks to improve, but no one on this Jet’s D stands out.

When a team travels from the west coast...it’s an advantage for the east coast home team.

When a team is ravaged by injuries to star players...it’s an advantage for the opposing team. 

 

But, it doesn’t matter. Jets are getting destroyed and look unprepared. The lack of effort on the first play from scrimmage by the defense ...was inexcusable.   Play calling is too predictable and that’s why you see some running plays getting stuffed in the backfield.

Through 6 quarters, opposing QBs have completed 75% of thier passes for almost 450 yards and 4 TDs, 0 picks.  With a defense that is mostly healthy.  Against Josh Allen and a banged up Jimmy Garoppolo missing hi stop 2 pass catchers. 

Can't wait to see what Russel Wilson and Pat Mahomes do later this season.

Quinnen is only bright spot for me in first half. I think three tackles for loss including the sack where Jimmy hurt his leg, right?

He shot his way out of town.  I think its time to move on from the "Jets fans didn't want him" narrative.  He didn't want the Jets, especially when he found out they weren't going to hand him $18M+ per season.

Adams is a damn good player and he made this defense better but do you want to pay him 18 mil a year. It's done and we got 2 1st rounders. Obviously the defense misses him but it's not about this year. It's about 2021 and beyond. I really think JoeD punted on this year.
