Perriman to miss "a week or two" with an ankle injury

With one spot available on the 53 man roster, expect the Jets to:

1) Sign Josh Malone to the 53 man roster and add a WR to the PS to replace Malone

OR

2) Sign a street free agent to the 53 man roster (Justin Hardy, Chester Rogers, Devin Smith, Ricardo Lewis, Hakeem Butler, Cody Latimer, Demariyus Thomas, Jermaine Kearse, etc)

OR

3) If Perriman is going to miss 2 weeks, might as well put him on IR and use the extra roster spot

Remember, Malone is out of "free" call ups from the practice squad.  If he gets called up again, he will have to go through waivers before being added back to the Practice Squad

We should probably just move all the WRs on the roster and the practice squad to IR at this point.  Save us the trouble later.
