Darnold is only good at backyard football, when the play breaks down and he is scrambling for his life and sees an open receiver. Even then he is prone to toss up some ducks like the cross body throw in Week 1 or countless other INTs.

Any kind of drop back pass in the pocket, read the field, he never impresses.

Yeah, his picks has nothing to do with talent. Just terrible decisions.

I don’t even think it was a bad decision. Cager was open looking the replay. Just a great play by the CB. The pick for the TD was brutal but I’m not killing Darnold on the second pick

If you’re Gase you have to consider pulling Darnold. I mean come on with this. The team isn’t even playing that bad.

Yes because it’s Darnolds fault that Rhodes won the defensive loterry and fell into a pick because he busted his assignment. That was a good decision and a good throw- sh*t happens

I blame JD for stripping  this team of any talent

Good QBs lift the talent around them,  not the other way around. He's missing open guys and making bad decisions.  It's the QB's talent that's doing that, not the players around him.

That’s a new unfortunate issue. If the team is trying and the offense looks decent except for Sam making boneheaded plays then we can’t blame the coach.
