Are you willing to sit through more of this just To lock up the first pick - cause we certainly will with him.

or Fck all that, kill him now and let us see if that makes a difference (and it will)

Keep him. Keep getting blown out and make him answer for this sh*t every post game on the way to the 1st pick for the new coach.

Out now.  It goes a long way with players to know that certain things won’t be tolerated.

You fire him now. Get a better evaluation of the roster with a different head coach/offensive play caller and first dibs on hiring any potential coach.

He is 100% a net negative on the team. No point in continuing to drag the franchise down.

By now, I mean after the Thursday night broncos game.

What possible justification  could there be after today. If CJ give a single 💩 about Sam, he would fire gase and go to court and get Sam a restraining  order against Gase.

Burn your bridge with gase and hope darnold is what you thought he was and was not being held back by gase.
Darnold being the real deal is better than drafting a guy who you hope is what you thought darnold could have been. If darnold sucks the rest of the season you draft lawrence...if darnold shows a glimmer of hope you give him tools next year and move foward

Even though I am severely, and I mean severely, down on Darnold I still hold out hope that with good coaching he can be the guy. It would def be easier if it turned out that way.  If he has any shot of proving that then Gase needs to be fired immediately.

Heart says there has to be consequences for this brand of suck if you ever want to be a respectable organization.

Head says this season is over anyway might as well let him suck us to Lawrence.

I'd normally say wait and ensure the pick but my god he's out there giving Frank f*cking Gore twice as many carries as the rookie.

Worst coach I have ever seen in the NFL. A walking, talking disaster.

Are their consequences for the man behind the suck, Chris Johnson? This is why he needs to announce that JD will be hiring the new head coach on his own and has 100% control of the coach and roster. The NFL needs to know that the Jets are actually serious. Anything short of this, is a complete failure and on ownership. So I fully expect them to f*ck things up.

When I say now, I mean assuming they lose against the Broncos on Thursday night. My hope is Chris Mortenson's tweet turns out to be correct that Gase gets fired if the Jets lose at home to the Broncos.

I also do NOT believe GREG Williams should be made interim HC. The fact is he's not doing his job either.

CJ is bored. They don't have anything else like an actual business to run. Woody will be in same boat after returning from his UK holiday. They'll never hand over the keys to their Barbie Ferrari and let someone else drive.

One word. GONE! They would be idiots (I'm pretty sure the Johnsons are) to keep him. I dont bitch much but this is bad. I have a feeling Gase is one of those coaches that that thinks by taking it easy on the players during practice he will get more out of them during the game. To think that Sam could have been great and is now suffering due to the coaching staff and players around him. ******* HORRIBLE. I dont blame Sam at all, I'd be nailing every chick I could find (kissing them passionately) on the lips hoping I caught mono for the 2nd time and sitting a few weeks out. At this point there should be an userstanding between ownership and players that we won't win a game this season. Keep sam, draft Lawrence and if sam pans out under new leadership, trade Lawrence.

I don't think an Interim Coach is going to make much of a difference when it comes to our chances at the # 1 pick.  They're about equal with Gase or an interim.  This fear should have zero impact on when Gase gets fired.

Get rid of Gase as soon as possible and have the interim coach play the kids.

Just please don't let Gregg Williams lead us to a 6-10 record or some sh*t.

This is sickening!

I am tired of being the Joke of  the league!

We go on TV and get embarrassed like this, it is disgusting.

Why wait??

What are we waiting for? Gase didn't leave Miami VOLUNTARILY he was fired for INCOMPETENCE!!

Getting rid of Bowles was the right decision because he wasn't a good HC and Gase is WORSE!  The offense is WORSE.  These blowouts are worse!!

Enough is enough already!!!

Finally if you were starting a team from scratch and you had TEN COACHES in the NFL to choose from to be your HC ; Gase IMO wouldn't be in the top 15!!!

And if that is true, why is he the HC OF YOUR TEAM!!!

Gase face is covered by a hat and a mask and still can't stomach looking the man, so yeah, just fire him already.

I don't think bringing in a new OC/HC mid-season is going to miraculously turn things around and if it does well then at least we get to watch some good football for a few weeks.

Firing him with a game in just 4 day is not a great idea.  Play Thursday. Then, if you fire him Friday morning, the interim at least gets 9 days to prepare for his first game.

Nothing matters if Becton and Fant are out for awhile.

Fire him and Loggains Friday morning after we lose to the Broncos on live television. Make Jim Bob the interim head coach.

He’s an utter disaster, and there is no benefit to keeping him for anything other than emptying trash cans. Fire his ass yesterday.

You have to get rid of him now, for no other reason than to see if Gase is holding Darnold back or if Darnold is independently bad. Johnson said there was no playoff mandate and that the staff would judged on how the team is progressing and the team is regressing beyond a shadow of a doubt. This team does not respond to Gase.

I wanted him fired the day after he was hired. I want him fired into the sun. Let him train wreck the rest of this season and humiliate him so much he and all his “money” can be fine without getting a job for a few years. Clown.
