THE BARON
I cant believe some of the Jets fans here. Many actually seemed surprised at the results the Jets are getting on the field. I wrote it time and time again... Discussing the roster, draft pics, free agency, Joe Douglas, Sam Darnold was and still is akin to dancing on the deck of the Titanic. The iceberg was there. It is there now for all to see... How do any of you ever expect anything different while Johnson owns the team ??? Now there is talk of Gase being fired and replaced mid season. WTF do you think you will get out of that ??? A better HC ??? Right... So what. The Jets drafted the best QB prospect. So what. He was wasted. Keep dancing as the band plays Nearer My G*d To Thee JOHNSON STILL OWS THE TEAM AND HE WILL STILL BE MESSING IT UP. Here is a toast to the smartest Jets HC in history. Belechick gets a look at Johnson and he signs his resignation on a snot rag and leaves town quickly. Smart man. So is Jamal... Dont expect anything other than disfunction from this team as long as Johnson owns it. Do what most of us are doing on Sunday... Don't piss your time away watching the Jets. Go apple picking, have a family BBQ or watch the cat puke up a hairball. Anything is better than patronizing Johnson's little toy that he keeps around to talk about at cocktail parties. Change the banner behind the aircraft. Never mind FIRE BOWLES or FILRE GASE of FIRE this one or that one. You are off target. It MUST be WOODY MUST GO !!!! jeremy2020
Yes, look at the threads before the season where those of us saying this was going to be a rough year were told we were crazy. People choose to believe things that make them happy over facing reality. They made a documentary about it, called the Matrix. Check it out, interesting stuff. slimjasi
I expected this to be a losing season. But I didn't expect to be noncompetitive in literally every game. I didn't expect all of our rookies to be hurt by week 4. I didn't expect the QB to look as lost as he does. The first 3 weeks of this season have been as bad as they possibly could have been.

Pretty much this, I expected us to be bad but not outrageously blown out and embarrassed each week.
Icer
I expected a mediocre/bad team but not the absolute worst team in the NFL.
