We have 6’5 athletic TE in herndon but here we are throwing fades to hogan .

Again Gase did nothing to counter the Denver pressure as they blitzed literally every play. The same standard drop back formation with outside fades and back shoulder patterns. Didn't use the middle of the field, no creativity. Horrible play calling. Jet players not being put in a position to succeed.

Someone needs to teach Gase how valuable quick slants and post patterns are to the offense.

Defensively, it's mainly been a disaster.  Desir, Austin, and McDougald have looked poor.  D-Line isn't getting any pressure, even when we blitz.  Got lucky with that stupid interception by Rypien.  Too many penalties.  Offensively, Darnold making plays is the only reason we are in this game.  We have no run game, and even at the end of the half, Darnold looked robotic forcing stuff.  I don't see this being a good story for the second half.

The saddest stories of this season have been:

1. Sam sucking

1a. Greggggg being as bad as Gase because you can’t even make the case for Gregggg as an interim.

Can't fault darnold. He is doing everything h can out there. Terrible play clock management and play calls. How about little pass to the middle to get closer and call a timeout...verse throw outside to our little recievers...those guys don't have the talent to out it off. At least let our TE try.

I mean it's crazy

I'm pretty sure he has an option over the middle on those 2 plays. He's choosing to not throw it there or to even look there. You guys are acting like only 1 WR went out for a pass on those plays.

What a joke, right.  Difference here is that jeudy caught that pass but hogan can’t.  And it’s directly related to how you invest draft assets.

Hogan had no chance it was batted away.

You're only seeing the guy he's throwing to. Watch the All 22 from the other have this season. You will see guys running open,  like Cager earlier,  and he just doesn't pull the trigger. It's constant

This is what happens when your QB is constantly running for his life on every play. I'm not arguing as Sam has definitely regressed this year but we'll never develop a QB in this Gase SH~~ Show.
