He will be eligible to come off IR after the Denver game, Le'Veon Bell as well

I'd guess they'll still take their time with Mims right?  Hasn't he only had like 2 practices all camp/season?

Seriously.  Dumping Hairston is a pretty big move.  Calling up Guidry and Jackson is a nice way to see what we should have seen in the preseason.  I'm not sure what Hairston did wrong other than general suckitude.  Seemed like Quincy Wilson has been pretty crappy too, but I guess he has sucked here for much less time.

I actually feel realistically hopeful about them winning. An awful lot will be righted with a big win.

You would class this as a "big win"? What would a win have to do to qualify as a win that nobody gives a sh*t about?

Is this sarcastic?  They are playing a practice squad QB!

Obviously they lost but yes a win is a win. These are nfl teams not a big 10 school playing a junior college.  And don’t forget that historically the jets have had trouble dealing with back up qbs. This issue predates gase.
