Popular Post Irish Jet
Yeah no sh*t. This is what happens when you send him back out there to get pummelled and those injections wear off. Flacco/Gore leading us to 5 wins is still on. 9

He came back in the game and looked pain-free because they numbed the sh*t out of him in the locker room. That does NOT mean he doesn't have a significant injury and won't miss time.

Popular Post varjet
This is when his agent and his parents basically call baloney on this, bring in Dr. Andrews and figure out if he needs a long rest or can play. I would not be taking the word of anyone on the Jets’ staff.

ScarletKnight89
Knowing how this regime treats injuries they'll want him to rub some dirt on it and play, regardless of whether or not he tore something in his shoulder.
Popular Post Barkus
He probably has AC sprain from the mechanism of injury. Grade 1 is up to 2 weeks. Grade 2 up to 6 weeks. Grade 3-4 should be seen on X-ray (frank separation of the joint) so likely not that. That would be 12 weeks plus.

slimjasi
If Darnold does end up missing time this year, another reason to potentially move on from him at the end of the year is that he will not have played all 16 games in any of his first 3 seasons in the league. 2

Popular Post Spoot-Face
The idea of watching Flacco play for the rest of the season is the most depressing sh*t. Just play Morgan. Side note: I had no idea they cut Mike White from the PS. I would've started him, just to spare Morgan.

They’re going to do this regardless. This team will have a top 3 pick, it’s hard to see this team winning more than 3 games and that’s even a stretch at this point. Popular Post Jetster
That actually should have been a penalty based on the new rules with QBs. He was forcibly thrown into the ground like a UFC takedown, anyone throws Tom Brady or now Mahomes down like that with the extra emphasis of flipping him into the ground everyone here knows flags would be flying. 16

Yes, because that is what they did with Mims, Perine, Davis, Bell, Flacco, Smith, Smith, Clark, Maulet, Cashman, Owunusor and Zuniga.

Especially considering they called roughing the passer like every other passing play against the Jets. They were so quick to throw the flag against us, you would think they would have called that one. But that is typical. We get no respect from the league. 8
Jetsfan80
Regardless of whether you think Darnold can be a good QB or not, if he has a multi-game injury due to this, it's time to move on regardless. 3 straight years to start your career, missing 3 games each in each of your first two and another several games in year 3, means you can't trust the guy to stay healthy for a full 16. You just can't. Drew Brees put together 15 straight seasons where he played 15 or 16 games (he sat some games with playoff spots locked up). Eli Manning missed 1 game over 14 years. Yet Darnold can't get through a season without missing time?

Paradis
2020 JETS QB: broken WRs: decimated and useless RB: washouts and seniors Oline: largely inneffective. Dline: most overpaid and under delivering unit on the team LB: broken and nonexistent DBs: eh. Could be worse.
