Popular Post jeremy2020
Harbaugh. They need someone who changes the culture by walking in the door. I'm not sure if Roman/Daboll/Bieniemy can do that. They may be doing a good job as an offensive coordinator, but that doesn't mean they'll be good head coaches. In some cases, a really good coordinator can be good enough that their deficiencies as a head coach are balanced out, but I think the Jets really need someone that can hir a good offensive/defensive staff and solid coaches all around and truly command the franchise. 1

Popular Post Mogglez
HC/OC: Greg Roman (he’ll call the plays). Offensive assistant/QB Coach/Assistant HC: Jim Caldwell. DC: Jim Schwartz (I believe he’ll be the scapegoat in Philly). Special Teams: Honestly have no idea, but I’d be fine with retaining Boyer. 9

Let’s just keep bringing on JAGs and see what our new miracle coach can do.

I'm not sure if Roman/Daboll/Bieniemy can do that. I have not watched much of Bieniemy but I've watched several Roman and Daboll interviews. Great position coaches, nice guys. Neither of them impress me as communicators, neither strike me as leaders aka head coaches. You have to be able to inspire professional athletes but you also have to be able to disciple, to be detailed-orientated. The consistently good head coaches create a culture of accountability. There is no time off, there is no other life. Belichick was obviously shaped by his Dad's background, his own training in economics and his vast experience across the NFL. Many of the successful head coaches are salty, focusing on minutia. We have had a lot of smooth talkers at HC, currently we have a slightly odd man unable to fully inhabit the complete role of head coach. Harbaugh is clearly a freak, it's time.

I'd even go as far as to stay that without drafting great players, you'll have a hard time fielding a competitive team.

The fans hate him. The owners love money. The fans aren't spending more money until Gase is gone. It is that simple. 2 1

SAR I There isn’t a more laughable and typical SAR trolling post than this one. The cherry on top of this sh*t sundae is suggesting that we hire Anthony Lynn, a former running backs coach and offensive coordinator, to be our defensive coordinator because he knows so little about football that he probably assumed that Lynn was a defensive guy because he served under Rex. 4 3

SAR I Disgusting... Gase doesn't know how to coach up a team... Lynn has great defensive players and their team sucks O'Brien I think has proven that he can't scheme a game for sh*t... the only time Watson performs is when the defense is in prevent dime and runs around on broken plays... similar to Gase... terrible Boyer is fine but his special teams looks like crap right now

It also took him nearly 15 years to win a championship. As if this fan base has even a fraction of that sort of patience, nor should they.
