No joke, I was really looking forward to seeing Cam play.   Doesn't seem fair to allow the game when Mahomes is there but Cam is not.  This game should have been rescheduled for later in the year.

Rescheduling games for later would have caused a mess for the league that they didn't feel like dealing with.  They should have added an extra bye week for all teams to help mitigate any potential scheduling issues.

All in all, if you're looking for "fairness" this season, it's just not going to be there.  Assuming it doesn't spread to the point where a game doesn't need to be postponed to a later week, COVID has to be treated just like any injury in the sense that it's "next man up" for any team dealing with it.  Cam might as well be dealing with a minor shoulder injury this week in the league's mind.

Yeah, I get all this.  Just turned what could have been a great game into a blowout.  Hoyer??  Fuk me.

I think this game would have been a blowout regardless, but yeah, Cam would have made it a lot more fun.  Especially since it's accidentally being played in primetime.  If only some scrub practice squad guy was their lone COVID case instead of Cam.

Not really sure why.  But I'm completely fascinated with how well Cam plays this season.   Kinda like a cool comeback story if he succeeds.  But yeah, KC is just so loaded.

Historically, in games against big AFC rivals that he can’t win (say bc of injuries), BB plays very simple base D and saves all of his tricks for the inevitable playoff encounter.  Seen it a dozen time with Pitt, Ravens, Indy/Denver in the old days etc

Anywhere but NE, I'd be happy to root for Cam.  To me he doesn't have a particularly good personality (unless his team is winning), but being that I live in NC, his games were of course on here all the time.  It's hard not to have fun watching a dual threat QB.
