Popular Post JoJoTownsell1
Mosley seems like the one guy on this football team that would pull a JJ Watt and save us from Gase. 5
joewilly12
Maybe the NY Jets should hire JJ Watt as the next HC.
GangGreened
I don’t think Mosley would do that. Jamal would of had him fired by now if he was still around though. He was smart enough to force his way out though.

Beerfish
The guy wanted a years holiday so no I do not view him as any kind of great leader or player going forward. Also players that take a year off usually suck the net year. Just another in a long line of vet players that come to the jets to get paid and then under perform badly.

Ryan Clark and Michael Irvin both said Jamal was actively trying to get traded to the Cowboys, which spurred his temper tantrum when it didn’t happen.
pdxgreen
Watt has more voice and integrity than almost any player in the league. Not many guys can get an entire organization to turn on their coach. We don't have anybody who can do that. The last guy we did was easily Nick. And he's been gone for a few years. Moseley can't because he's a faceless signing who opted out.

Oh yeah, he was clearly lying about not trying to get traded.

Sperm Edwards
My recollection was that, as much as Bell was a Maccagnan idea, Mosley was a Gase idea. Doubtful Mosley would turn on the guy who pushed for him to get about a 50% raise over Baltimore's top offer.

Depends. The guy who really needs to push Gase out is Douglas. He is the guy with the 6 year contract. He's the guy with the leverage. The longer he allows himself to be associated (and portrayed as buddy buddy) with this head coach, the lower his stock falls. 3
jeremy2020
As always, let's have a moment to be thankful for Minnesota who saved the Jets from Cousins and Barr. Then a moment of hate for Baltimore just laughing at the Jets ineptitude and saddling them with Mosley's contract. 3

Here is the difference: JJ Watt wants to win and cares about his team. Mosley does not care about the Jets in the least and will probably never wear a Jets uni again. He got his money. joewilly12
ESPN Houston's John Granato reports J.J. Watt had a "heated exchange" with ex-Texans coach Bill O'Brien that led to a player revolt and ended up getting O'Brien fired. Watt "called out" O'Brien's coaching ability ahead of last week's game with the Steelers. That created pushback from other veterans, and the winless Texans made the decision to move on after another loss. O'Brien also reportedly clashed with DC Anthony Weaver, and had well known power struggles with EVP Jack Easterby and ex-GM Rick Smith. Houston made the playoffs four of the last six seasons and had a .520 winning percentage under O'Brien, but the fallout from his firing could make it hard for him to land a retread job this offseason. The guy to have done was Jamal, for sure but yeah, Jamal played it perfectly. Such a lucky dude.

He solved the jets almost starting Geno Smith at QB for $600. I'm sure for a grand, he'd solve the Gase problem.
