Guess at roster moves with 4 people coming back from IR

Recommended Posts

Jets are designating 4 players for return from IR:

  1. RB Le'Veon Bell
  2. LB Blake Cashman
  3. WR Vyncint Smith
  4. DE Jabari Zuniga

So, who gets the ax now that those 4 are back?  Here's my guess

  1. RB Ty Johnson - didn't even play in a game and gets waived - Jets probably hoping to add him to the PS
  2. Gotta figure Ogletree is a goner at LB
  3. Josh Malone is a decent KR but he's probably gone - doubt he would be claimed, so he can go back to the PS. IF Donte Moncrief is in fact on the 53 man roster, he could be gone instead of Malone -
  4. This is the hardest one........has to be either Jordan Willis or Bryce Huff.......can't think of anyone else, my guess would be Willis who is actually a decent player

They already got rid of RB Ballage and didn't back fill his roster spot. That is the spot Bell will take. We cannot go into a game with Bell off of a hamstring injury and the 100 year old Gore as the only 2 backs unless they bring up a PS squad RB like Josh Adams agin, but why bring Ty to the team if you don't evaluate him in a game?. I know they see him in practice, but some players play better in the games.

Roster Moves:

1. Sam Darnold cut

2. Jamal Adams traded.. again for a 2nd round pick to Bill O' Brien who somehow still has roster control despite being fired

3. Anderson gets a twix stuck in a vending machine and tries hit it late after the whistle, but whiffs and accidently falls off the Earth into the Sun. He is placed on IR.

4. Frank Gore finally laid to rest after losing his life pushing Quinnen Williams who stopped in the middle of the road to pick up a dropped hamburger out of the way of an oncoming semi truck. Gore managed to get there in time, but since he had already gone 2 yards, he couldn't go any further.

Sarge.....they just can't let this kid go. He actually played pretty well vs Denver, put some pressure on the QB. But, this is Jet land, where being able to rush the QB is a no-no.

Cutting Huff would be super risky. He might make it to waivers but he was retained to begin with. Would be very Jetsy to cut him and have him go somewhere and be a 10-12 sack guy. He has been getting close to the QB on limited reps. No sacks but they will come.

We don't have a Head Coach, we do have a f@#$ing Idiot though that no village will claim.

How dare you. Adam Gase will go down as one of the greatest Jets in history.  He got rid of McGannan and will coach his way to Lawrence.  Ring of honor stuff right there.

Prediction and opinion Henry Anderson CUT

That isn't so much a prediction or opinion as a wild guess fail. Anderson is a vested veteran. He has a 7M salary that became guaranteed when he was on the opening day roster. There is not any chance at all that he gets released. The "surprise" DL cut is Nathan Shepherd.
