If fans revolt - nothing. If players revolt...

I also wonder (I know it's likely we'll never know) if JD is calling for Gase's firing.  Any reasonable person would.  There's no way JD actually doesn't see how much of a train wreck this is.  You have to think he's advising CJ to fire him.

If not...oh boy.

If the goal is to tank, then keeping Gase is masterclass chess by Joe Douglas.

But if this is Woody and Chrissy... it’s two chimps calling the black and red chips “rooks and knights” checkers.

Cheers !!!

Its nice to think this is a genius move by Douglas. I still hope. Reality is, all the other moves made.. most of them, have been flops. We are a sad sad roster.

Gase needs to go, but so does practically the entire roster, so not sure that accomplishes anything.

What about Douglas?  Things get worse by the day and his fingerprints are on this team.  Every free agent signing has been terrible with the exception of Fant.  He let the only decent receiver we had walk away and not for ridiculous money.  His draft picks are all hurt to the point of absurdity.

The Johnsons have taken advice from Korn Ferry, Neil Glatt, Charlie Casserly and Peyton Manning (the guy who went back to school instead of playing for the Jets) for critical hires.  Now they took advice from Adam F. Gaze to give Douglas a six year contract.  Makes me sick.

You think Robby Anderson would have moved the needle in anyway? Lol. Team would still be 0-5. None of the players he drafted had injury concerns in college. That's just dumb luck. Can't blame him there.

What exactly did you want Douglas to do? Don't blame him for years of incompetency from previous management. This team is a mess from top to bottom.

Do you think Chris will react?  We actually need the players to do the dirty work and call out their coach.

I think once Gase loses Bell and he starts to spout off this thing will devolve fast.

That could be what CJ needs to do the right thing.  I hope so.

Nothing has changed since last week.  This is a rebuild in the early stages.  Seems like this is a surprise to you.

It’s going to take a strong stomach for the next 2-3 years while Douglas and Gase fix this Idzik/Maccagnan mess.  Learn to deal with disappointment or be on your way.  I hear Minecraft is fun; try that.

So far, JD has made deplorable decisions except for a select few. He either really belied that this team would be competitive, in which case he is incompetent, or he is a liar and made fools of all Jets fans. That would make him a POS
