With that defense its tough to see them making it all the way. Would be great if they miss out on the bye week to the Packers and go down in the WC round.

The NFC looks incredibly weak right now.  San Fran is a disaster, there's nobody in the NFC East, I don't really believe in the 4-1 Bears.  The Rams are good but not great.  The Saints are good (2-2) but not great.  The Packers are very good but not great.

What team in the NFC really terrifies anyone like the 49ers did last year or the Rams did the year before?  There's a bunch of average in that conference (Tampa, Carolina, Chicago, etc.) and maybe 3 good teams (Packers, Seattle, Rams).  It feels like the Seahawks are guaranteed to make the NFC Championship Game.

The Seattle defence seems to have more holes than a block of Swiss cheese. The backup running back had over 100 yards rushing on not that many carries while Thielen and Smith Jr kept finding soft areas in the coverage. Cousins is a fairly mediocre quarterback these days but he carved up the Seahawks. Adams will have a lot to do when he is healthy again.

Wouldn’t worry about Seattle’s record that much.

they are a deep playoff team anyway as long as Wilson is healthy.

root against them in the playoffs

I mean, we at LEAST need them to lose enough games to avoid getting the bye and homefield advantage.  With 7 playoff spots and only 1 bye, finishing first in your conference has never been more advantageous.

Agreed.

Although, let's imagine worst case - they win the Superbowl. The 32nd pick is still hella valuable. We picked Mangold at 29th, right?

I'm good with whatever Seattle does. I have enough misery already this season without having to worry about rooting against Russell Wilson, who is legitimately one of the most magical players in the league.
