The Cleveland Browns are 4-1.

The last time they started a season this strong was in 1994.  The HC was Bill Belichick, Nick Saban was his DC, and Vinny Testaverde was the QB.

A lot of people have given the Browns sh*t the last few seasons for having a lot of talent but not seeing results.  They're now a "post hype sleeper" to contend out of the AFC.

They are pretty stacked. Nice WR core, decent o line, awesome RBs, good corners, a good pass rush and a decent qb. Add all those things together and that team should be good. Funny what happens when you subtract a bad coach from the equation and insert a good one. Browns could be good for a while if baker turns out to be a starting caliber player.

the difference is that the nation quietly roots for Cleveland, the middle america underdog

the nation enjoys watching the buttfumble on 6 month repeat. the Jets humiliation is entertaining for most fans of the NFL. just not us

No idea why there is a thread about the Browns in the Jets forum but I will play along.

Ravens handed them there their heads. The Ravens are a legit Playoff team

They barely beat a Bengals team that lost what 14 games last season and was starting a rookie QB.

They beat Washington after that who just recently benched Haskins.

They beat Dallas who may actually have a defense as bad if not worse than the Jets and had to score 49 to do it because the Cowboys scored 38

This week they beat the colts who also managed a good record by beating some bad teams like us and the Bears.

I will give them credit, they can beat a bad team. It's more than the Jets have done.

On a good day, they're capable of beating the best teams.

It just goes to show you that coaching does matter.  Stefanski put a perfect little game manager system around around Mayfield and let that OL and those dynamic RB's become the focal point of the offense and they are playing really good D.  Miles Garrett is unreal, he takes games over and he seems to always make a big play when they need him to when they're closing out games.

Conklin appears to be having a good season at RT.  I recall him signing for much less than we thought he would.

Jedrick Wills is not playing as well as Becton at LT.  Wills was picked one pick before Becton.  Wills is not injured though.

Current PFF grades for the top OLinemen taken this past draft...

Becton - 72.6 (https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/mekhi-becton/59818)

Wirfs - 71.0 (https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/tristan-wirfs/64818)

Wills - 61.8 (https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/jedrick-wills/58467)

Thomas - 57.0 (https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/andrew-thomas/59701)

Not really. Most people around the country don’t give a sh*t about the Jets one way or the other.
