Fitz always drove me insane when he was our QB.  Feast or famine with that guy.  One week he would put up three TDs, the next three INTs and look like he never saw a football before.

If Fitz is on like he was against SF?   And with our D?  He'll light us up all day.  I could see us getting blown out by 30.  But even if he has an off day we'll still find a way (Gase/jokes at QB) to lose the game.

Hmmm.  Darnold has never put up points like Fitz when he's on.   On a good day, he would run for two TDs and throw for another two or three.  I despise Fitz.  But gun to my head, I think he's a better QB than Darnold.

jets sucking making me very rich I just keep betting against them.... it is like trading on inside information especially early on when folks though we actually had a team that knew football

Most non-Jets fans don’t know just how bad this team is and feel they “must be due.” Yeah they’re due alright for a date at the glue factory

Last week that's me betting the Falcons -2.5 at home vs the Panthers. Cost me my first 3-team parlay when I had the Rams -7.5 and Steelers -7  both cover.

I'd love to have a QB who is "on" in about 50 % of his games.  Better than QB's who are atrocious for half their games and "meh" for the other half.

Fitz can light it up when it doesn't matter.  We remember his famous choke job in Buffalo in 2015.  Jets haven't covered yet this year so I figure this week won't be any different.

Beggars can't be choosers.  Since the merger, the Jets have only had 9 seasons with 10+ wins.  Just 9 in 50 years.  And Fitzpatrick has one of them.

Losing to Rex's Bills in week 17 at Buffalo was a huge kick in the nuts. Still that was the best season we had since 2010. Hard to believe that's 5 years ago. Seems like yesterday.

Fitz sucks.  Same bullcrap every year he wins a couple games early in the season and the media and his wierd clique of worshippers come out.  And then the important games come facing real defenses and he falls apart

And he had Marshall and Decker to catch his 50/50 balls all year against a mostly soft schedule

But each "meh" rekindles the flame of hope eternal!

He also has the 2nd highest yardage total in Jets history...

Miami are actually good team who are outplaying their record. The Jets are one of the worst teams in NFL history.

Absolutely lump on them to cover.

Takeaways--

  • Cowboys defense is terrible
  • Baker is balling, actually has the exact same QBR as his rookie year. Freddie Kitchens was a terrible HC.
  • Surprised to see the Titans where they are. By these numbers they seem lucky to be undefeated (with an assist from COVID).

Also, I thought I was only being pithy when I said there is a smaller gap between the Fins and Chiefs than between the Jets and Fins.

This year is much different. He is mentoring Tua and is helping a new OL that has 3 rookies.
