Only ones worth keeping are the 2020 draft class just because we haven’t seen them yet. Top priority is to sink this team to make sure we get the #1 pick. Trade, trade, trade, get picks, picks, picks. Get Trevor and rebuild the OL. Becton is our only solid OL. JD has done a half azz job with the OL. With a solid OL, it dramatically changes your whole team and opens up your offense. We got stupid cash and picks for next year. Get a new HC and next year this team can make significant progress in the right direction.

slimjasi
I don't know guys, this might mean that Perrine would be forced to actually . . . play. Scott Dierking
This is why pencils have erasers. Bell never should have been here, and if we can get him out for anything, let's do it. I doubt it happens because it would actually be a positive.

But what about the pressure associated with being the featured RB? You know that will cause a fragile young man to experience frightening, possibly psychologically catastrophic, nightmares and other terrors. I, for one, would not want that responsibility. This is really what comes down to with Adam Gase. Not only does he refuse to adjust his offense to what the opposing defense is doing, he also refuses to adjust his own friggin offense to utilize its most talented players. It's really quite remarkable. He's twice as stupid as you already think he is! I know how frustrating it is for me to see Frank Gore stealing Bell's touches. I can only imagine how Bell feels. Sonny Werblin
I think the Jets would have to take an $4 million cap hit (Bell's remaining pro-rated bonus) and would have a cap savings of the the remaining salary for this year. Bell has a $13 million salary for 2020. So, if you pro-rate it, that would be $8.9 million for the final 11 games. The difference between the accelerated $4 million cap hit for the pro-rated bonus and cap savings on salary if he's traded is a net $4.9 million savings to the Jets, isn't it? And at an $8.9 million cost to other teams, Bell can fit under the cap for the Browns, Steelers, Eagles, Colts, Ravens and Cardinals.

Saul Goodman
Bell has gotten plenty of opportunities. He’s run into a brick wall on almost every carry, but he also hasn't made anyone miss. Got lots of targets in the passing game last season and failed to break anything as well. He’s been a good teammate for sure, it just wasn’t meant to be with him and the Jets. All that said, this report is probably false.

That's because Macc handed out free money in FA and never had to actually rely on his draft picks being the main players for the team. The guy spent 5 years drafting with less than 5 real NFL players to show for it.

Popular Post Mogglez
It doesn’t matter who the coach was. Bell was never going to be here more than 2 years. The contract was structured that way for a reason. It’s clearly not working out (yes, Gase is to blame). Douglas trading a player he would have never signed and getting something back is for the best. 5
