I can only assume because the Jets will not be responsible for his salary for the remainder of his contract and there is no cap hit.

How does this make sense?

We would actually be better if we were an expansion team and went through that whole process

Actually I think this type of move, along with the Adams move, prevents the drama.

What an A-hole that Bell was. Playing hard, wanting to win, wanting to be more involved in the offense. How can you win with players like that?

Everything about this franchise is an utter sh*tshow, but please with Bell. He wanted his money, got it...and didnt do much after that besides be a headache.

Let’s get rid of talent players and keep the stupid coaches.

Please.  This was a terrible signing.  He was on the downside before he got here.  It was clear to anybody who looked even a little that he was a product of the Steelers offensive system and the OL.  Connor put up better numbers than Bell in 2018 than Bell did in 2017.  Bell averaged 4 yards a carry in 2017.  There was no way in the world he was going to be successful with the poor OL and the lack of skill players here.  Yes the coaches are horrible, but Bell is no longer a talent and hasn't been one in almost 4 seasons.
