If Gase doesn't get fired now nothing will change!

If the Jets keep Adam Gase as head coach for the rest of the season they are just shooting themselves in the foot! Gase will just keep running Gore and playing the vets till hell freezes over. Gase will still be running a horrid offensive system that hinders Sam and every other player. The team needs a different direction a different voice and it needs to happen now. Jets are going to lose anyway - Gase or no Gase - so they might as well see how Sam looks with a different OC and head coach and a different offensive system. Sure the players will have to learn it quickly so start now and start small. After 3 or 4 weeks they will get the new plays down. This has to happen now! Gase is done - we all know that so why wait - cause it will only hinder the team more and nobody gets developed. Get Gase out of here and gone right now!

I want him fired but whether we do or don't won't change a thing.  This team is going 0-16, give or take and we're already searching for our next head coach.

Actually, I think firing Gase would be doing him a favor. Let him suffer every week like the rest of us.

They should just keep Gase and let him do what he does best, keep losing.

Ride this out to 0 and 16. Get the top pick and new coach. Start a new era.

My point is we are gonna lose anyway. Get an interim coach that agrees to develop the young players and might create some team unity and we also need to see how Sam does in a different offensive system to truly evaluate him. Same old crap with Gase. The players - this team needs a different head coach for the rest of the season. Again we are gonna lose anyway so why keep this cancer.

I get it. Developing Sam would be good, seeing Sam without Gase would be good.

Basically if they get the first pick Sam is a goner. I like the kid a lot but he hasn't shown enough. If he has success and you trade him you get more in return. Otherwise saving Sam isn't bad in case the Giants out 0 and 16 the Jets.

hasn't shown enough being coached by Gase.  He looked very promising is 1st year.  The team is so talent stripped it is horrible.

Gase should be canned right now so the rest of the year the team can actually evaluate darnold a bit.

If you keep gase you will never know, as i said in another post.  See Tannehill.  Darnold is only 23

It's an abomination what the Jets have done to Darnold. However economic reality and a coming top 3 draft pick (likely #1 overall) requires the Jets to move on.
