the thing is flacco isn't going to take a sack.  we know he's not very mobile but he still had a better game than we've seen from darnold over the past few weeks.  the only issue i see is that bell is gone just when it looked like he was starting to play pretty good.  perine doesn't pass block very well and gore can't go in for more than a couple of plays so it's going to be hard to see how they can have a run game.

Not sure if you saw the game last week but the Cardinals kicked our butt. No moral victories that I could see other than one step closer to Trevor.

You really think JD sat in his office draft day and thought "I'm gonna wait until the 4th round to get Sam's replacement"??

He saw something in James Morgan to take him in that spot when we needed another WR.

If he took him because he heard BB and NE wanted him JD SHOULD BE FIRED TONIGHT.

I doubt if he drafted Morgan to play keep away from the patsies.  More likely he recognized that it’s good practice to draft a Qb  because, if the scouting, is any good they might land a potential starter or solid back up. I suppose we argue about whether he should’ve used a 4th round pick but maybe he thought Morgan wouldn’t be available in the later rounds.

At this point it’s not about winning the games as much as improving the way the team plays.  Yes the cardinals beat them but when was the last time the jets had a 4th and one in the red zone and went for it?  By the way I saw a replay of one of the attempts and Wesco took the wrong path. There was a huge hole over the right guard.  The only way the current players will get better is by playing.

I saw enough Flacco last week.

A better team would be looking to get Morgan ready and get him some live-fire experience time at this point.

We are not a better team, and Gase is looking to save his ass with a few now-meaningless wins despite being completely out of contention already, for a second year running.

Agreed.

Zero reason to play Flacco. None whatsoever.

This organization can't buy a good decision.

Disagree if he continues playing in the downward spiral he's been he won't be worth anything by the end of the season.

I think the NY Jets need to move on from Sam Darnold with or without the #1 pick in next years NFL Draft.

Of course you do. I'm sorry if I find comfort in that. ;)
