Our current WRs are so good we can’t allow Mims to get run because he hasn’t had enough time to practice the Gase playbook? How hard can it be to learn to block the cornerback while Gore runs up the middle? 1

I'm a bit torn. They NEED Mims, Clark and Becton to all be awesome for the future tho. I have no real complaints everyone being hurt as long as it's a fluke for this year and they're all gonna be great when they play ...next year. or this year as long as they lose

Look no further than our very own Jets year after year. DT last year, Hogan this year. Think what you like. Playing Mims with no practice immediately after getting off IR.....is a good way to both not produce, and get him reinjured. But sure, whatever you guys want. /shrug.

I don't think it should work like that for a rookie who hasn't had a single practice with the team yet. I don't think anyone reasonable is suggesting it'll be another month before we see him or anything. But this week it makes sense to have him practice but not play, then look to get him into games starting as early as the following week.

As usual, the big question that encompasses everything is Johnson. Even if the GM and HC and roster are in place (and they are not), Johnson can still mess things up with his meddling. There is never going to be any hope of having a quality team to watch if and until Johnson resigns himself to letting a professional run the team. As of right now, the jury is still out on Joe Douglas. Is he that man ??? I don't know. Given the decisions he has made so far, it looks like he knows what he is doing.

If this was week 1, sure I would have wanted him out there even for a few snaps. But the season is already lost. Darnold and Beckton are out. What's the rush to bring him back week 6 vs week 7? How do you know what you're suggesting didn't happen last week? If he's healthy let him play, lord knows we need all of the help at WR that we can get.

I believe he has not taken part in a single practice with the Jets until this week.

I mean seriously they ARE football players. If he's healthy we need him on the damn field.
