Denzel Mims Will Have 40 Receptions This Season?

Let's say Mims sits out one more week and comes back for game 7.  If he stays healthy (a BIG if, of course) he will play in 9 games.  If he catches 4 passes a game, that is 36 receptions.

Will Mims catch 40 passes for the Jets this season?

Hopefully he gets over the hamstring issue and can put up some decent numbers, but I went with the under 40.  Hammy issues can linger or return if not fully healed.

I wanted Becton and Mims.  Kind of a dream scenario that I didnt think was possible.  Very disappointed that Mims has barely practiced with the team and the reason why was because I thought he'd have a learning curve to begin with.  I didnt expect a fully healthy Mims to crack 40 catches on the season.  I saw him the 35 range in 400 range w/ 1 or 2 TD's.  The reason being, Adam Gase is a moron and doesnt want to "stunt" his rookies, so I didnt expect a big role from Mims and I think he was going to face a bit of a culture shock transitioning from the Big 12 into an offense that wouldnt be able to take advantage of his size and speed.  I also really dont expect him to comeback or stay healthy if he does.

If the NJ Transit train leaves the station at 9 a.m. and Christopher Johnson hasn't woken up yet, how many Jets fans will jump off anyway and get road rash on the railroad bed before he arrives at Florham Park?

To this point in their rookie seasons... Devin Smith was better than Denzel Mims. Technically. 

I understand their college careers were different, I understand their skill sets are different. Doesnt change the fact that situationally and as a point of fact,

I was going to say too hard to predict if he never gets on the field but I thought that was too pat.
