chirorob
Those three now count 15.67 million on next years salary cap. They now count a total of 30 million for this year's camp. Nearly 46 million in dead cap space for 3 players over 2 seasons. The waste on this team is amazing, you have to hope it stops sometime soon. Popular Post joewilly12
Most mismanaged and unorganized team in professional sports. Yes I took into consideration the Mets and Knicks. 3

I'd like to wish one, big, giant "GFY" to all the people who have been saying "Macc is gone now, he can't hurt us anymore" for the last 1.5 years. His negative impact on this franchise really can't be overstated, and will continue to leave its mark on the team for the next several seasons as well. 9 3

Joe needs to be careful with the idea that any player from the previous regime is trash and that it makes sense to rid the organization of them regardless of cost. I don't disagree with the three you mentioned, but the Jets need to be thoughtful about how they approach guys like Quinnen, Darnold, Fatukasi, Bless Austin, etc.

Jetster
I once said early on that a blindfolded monkey throwing darts at Mel Kipers 5 best available during our draft picks would have probably done better in the Draft. Hell, he might have hit Mahomes, lol. And when it comes to free agency, it's like he doesn't even know anything about the Jets early free agent history, guys like Leonard Marshall, Ronnie Lott, Art Monk. OMG, please Joe Douglas, MAKE IT STOP!
rangerous
Not good the jets are still paying for mac’s stupid mistakes into next season. In this regard you gotta wonder if Moseley is going to join this list. This means that they continue to have to rely on the draft and or second tier free agents until the salary mess disappears. This could also be the reason that forces them to move on from darnold even if Lawrence isn’t available.

All depends on the draft but I think in long run it will work out if Gase is gone and we get a decent coach. Bell no doubt is going to go off and proabbly win superbowl, but if it helps get rid of Gase and fixes our roster stucture...its worth it in the long run. It just such ripping that band aid and literraly losing our best player.

kmnj
the irony is there were PLENTY of people here posting about how we need to give him time to get his system in blah blah blah I dont want to embarrass some folks but I should bump up some of the threads where people LOVED the hackenburg pick and were talking about how we finally have our real gm in two years the same posts can be bumped up about Douglass-he sucks and I dont need time to see his plan work -his free agents were horrible, he paid horrible players like griffin and let the only talent we had out the door. Same folks now cheering on Joe cheered on Mac and Iz a dick too

BUT...JD has next off-season to begin his rebuild. We need Becton back on the field - and we need to see something, anything from Mims, Perrine and Zuniga.

Jet Life
Now factory in the Mosely contract and it gets even worse. Will take a while to get the Macc stench off this organization. Here the Jets pay him to do it, only there's still a whole team left on Monday afternoons after the garbage truck leaves.
