Good for McClendon.  Great leader, solid vet.  With a chance to win some games in the last year or two of his career.

Reports confirmed that Steve M. agent gave the Jets a list of 31 teams he wanted to be traded to.

The Cardinals traded Josh Rosen, a top 10 QB, after 1 season (13 games played) for a 2 and a 5.  Worked out pretty well.

There's no rule against trading high picks within 2 seasons.

A 2 and a 5 huh

Glad everyone thinks he is a leader.

HOWEVER....

We have no idea what was said behind closed doors.  He might have said something that got him removed.

And good for him.

Maybe Sam walks into the office tomorrow.  And Poole, and Poole.  And Maye.  And Crowder.  And  (fill in the blank)

McClendon is the perfect locker room guy. He’s 35 and serves no purpose here. Tampa prob asked about him and no reason to say no.

Unfortunately this leads me to believe that Gase will remain as head coach.  Gase has convinced all that the problem is personnel and not coaching.

I won't be able to support this team if that happens.

If this happens?  I will build an altar to the Netherworld spirits because I will know God does not exist.

Box score has him down for one tackle and three assists. It's interesting that he did play, because I would assume that Douglas was talking to Tampa Bay about a trade before the game started and yet he wasn't held out to make sure he didn't injure himself during the game.

He also batted a pass down.
