Philc1
Was thinking about this the other day. There was a rumor 2 years ago before the jets hired Gase that Bowles would not be fired but rather re-assigned as DC with Arians becoming the new head coach Arians, the guy who mentored Andrew Luck and Peyton Manning, with Sam Darnold - what coulda been
Rhg1084
I mean they could’ve resurrected Vince Lombardi and he wouldn’t have been able to salvage this team. No offensive line, no wide receivers, no running backs. There was nothing that could’ve been done. We just gotta hope JD is able to get some players in here who are actually talented
joewilly12
Bruce Arian's is winning games because of the roster he has. Have you taken a good look at a NY Jets Depth Chart and Roster lately.

BROOKLYN JET
If I recall correctly Bruce Arians said he had no interest in coaching here. Probably because it would have killed him.

JoJoTownsell1
While Gase has been horrible and arians would have certainly done better I think a full rebuild is far better long term for this franchise.

Unrelated, but the key to Bowles being a good DC again is signing a Brady, and never having to face him.
shawn306
If Arians was had succeeded Bowles we would be in a much better spot. Arians though was never going to come here because the Jets had fired Bowles who he is close with and worked with in Arizona and now Tampa Bay. jamesr
We'd be sitting in a parallel universe wanting washed-up Arians fired and wondering how we missed out on the genius Adam Gase.
Scoop24
Robby anderson would still be here .
