I wouldn't mind keeping him around through the rebuild because good corners are important, even if he is mainly a slot guy, and our depth at the position isn't great. And he's only 28. Getting almost anything for him in a lost season isn't a bad thing. Smells like a JD Special.....a 6th this year for Poole and a 7th next year, a 5th this year for Poole a 6th this year. The Jets are about to become one of the youngest teams in the NFL (a good direction to head in) but I'm terrified about how and who will have the opportunity here to develop all these new rookies.
