Looked like he was the answer. After that the interceptions started becoming a thing. I would also imagine that it would be hard emotionally to watch Marino ball out in your division after passing on him. I agree that O’Brien is easily the second best NYJ QB to Namath on paper. But Belichick is no match for the Jets Curse so its not so much the Belichick vs Gase but Belichick vs the Jets Curse. O'Brien isn't close the second best Jets QB, he's lucky if he's top 5. He's one of the most overrated Jets of all time. Like most of your posts, but you need a foundation before you have your FQB. We've tried it a bunch of times and it hasn't worked.
