Curran, of the Providence Journal, reports New England Patriots CB Duane Starks has a big salary cap number in 2006. Starks is on the books to make $3.65 million in salary and has a signing bonus hit of $1.5 million in 2006. Garb
Not sure, but isn't it beautiful? I want to live in my avatar. Today will mark the third day in a row that I have forgotten my "work" badge (those damned post 9/11 cards that are used to gain entry to the building/office). This is a sure-fire sign that a vacation is not only desired, but NECESSARY!
Alk
I say this with no reservation or remorse whatsoever: "SEE YOU THE :Cuss: LATER, DUANE STARKS YOU TOASTED WASTE OF TIME" After hearing about how bad of shape his shoulder was in last season, I'm willing to give him another chance. Something does need to be done about that $3.65 million though.
Garb
...hmmm, does a bad shoulder slow you down, keep you out of position and prompt you to say, "I'm not comfortable with the bumb and run and physical play - that's not my style?" He SUCKS.

I heard another poster who had a bum shoulder in football put it this way. Strap one arm to your side and try running. Apparantly it slows you down significantly. I would try it but I have a hard enough time running with both arms free. So yes, if he's willing to do something about his contract, I wouldn't be opposed to giving him another shot in camp. GimmeShelter
I recall a certain Pats fan telling me Starks was released in midseason last year. Not suprising when following Pennington is his number 1 priority.
