Well to be fair Gase did say from the beginning Bell wouldn't work in his system! And he damn well was determined to prove it.

Gase would rather lose his way than win someone else's way.

Listen, I hope he tears it up. FYI, he was one of my favorite players in the league before he came here. I just don't want people to pretend that he showed any kind of promise here and wasn't overweight last year. 

He'd be a 1 on many teams but like you say, KC is stacked.

Gase makes it clear that the media isn't going to manipulate him.  He's tough as nails.  They're figuring that out now with the revoking of Manish and the firing of Lucas.  They'll find other, softer targets to pick on instead.  It's how it goes with bullies.
