Cutler not the answer! He sucks!

A quality quarterback is defined as one who can win games. Cutler has a poor record. He had a good week of practice at the Senior Bowl. He stunk in the game forcing passes. He is a proven loser and DO NOT jump on this wagon. The practice session made eveyone think he is a good QB...until gametime!

The Jets will regret not taking D'Brick with that 4th pick. A quality OT is difficult to find! Fabini gone this year and McKenzie gone last year with no suitable pickups creates a big hole on the o-line. We do not have any cap $$$ so a rookie starter is the affordable and intelligent choice. If the Jets take Jay Cutler it will be the biggest draft bust in the history of football! Stay safe and choose DBrick....or trade down and get 2-3 starters.

Cutler is not the answer! Do not believe the hype.... its crap!

To say Cutler sucks is as stupid as saying he's a future HoF'er.

I generally don't get this negative when replying to a post, but this one is sooooo well, off base, it's impossible not to.

There are many, MANY players, including QB's who came out of losing programs in college to have very good careers in the NFL. That statement is as clueless as they come.

this thread starter is so stupid in fact, I'm stupid for even replying.... pot, meet kettle.

I agree with everything you say except the part about how a good OT is hard to find. Normally that is true but if you check out the scouting reports this draft is loaded at OT. Darryn Colledge, Ryan O'Callaghan, Andrew Whitworth, Jeremy Trueblood are all going to be there in the 2nd and 3rd rounds.

A dose of humility on the internet is so refreshing.

the point the makes is valid. cutler is not a great qb and he is risky. if you want to draft a qb go for one of the top 2 or use a different pick

Even DK is showing common sense on this.

Cutler at #4 would be a huge risk.

With as many holes as the Jets have to fill, they would be foolish to roll the dice with the #4 pick on Cutler.

Again, why not take D'Brick at #4 and use a 2nd round pick to nab Schaub?

Quite a few people have Jay Cutler listed as the #1 quarterback in the draft. He easily has the best physical tools of the projected 1st round quarterbacks. It is incredibly foolish to bash Cutler because he had a total lack of talent surrounding him. How many Vandy offensive players were invited to Indy besides Cutler? Now, how many UT and USC offensive guys were invited? Cutler made chicken salad out of chicken ****.

All draft picks are risky, Cutler and Ferguson included.... remember Mike Williams? LT taken #4 overall by the Bills 4 years ago? just got released.

Guys like that really show what a crapshoot the draft is. I mean, he was a player who many people said would shore up the Bills O-line for the next decade (much like D-Brick talk right now). It's fun to talk about the draft, and predict who is going to do what but more players than not aren't going to be nearly as good as "the experts" say they are. Even GMs swing and miss a high percentage of the time.
