Harbaugh is not coming to team without control, JD is not hiring his replacement. Plus his thin skin, big mouth and NY sounds like a huge mistake

Thomas?  That any team would shop this kind of talent is telling.  The stories have to be true.

1 out of 3 ain't bad

My dream offseason?  Here's a take.

1) Steven A. Cohen announces he's buying the Jets from the Johnsons.

2) Cohen announces Gase is gone and we are searching for a new HC, with Joe Douglas in charge of the search.  The new HC will report to Douglas.

3) SEA loses the wildcard game, and their draft pick turns into pick 24.

4) Jets sign Allen Robinson.

5) Jets draft Trevor Lawrence at 1, Wyatt Davis, Kyle Pitts or Travis Ettienne at 24.  Josh Myers at 33.  Whatever Joe wants the rest of the way.

6) CJ Mosley buys into the new regime and announces he is returning in 2021 with a fire in his belly.

But really...give me  1 and 2 and I think I could live with whatever else happens.

Realistically, I'll take 2, 4 and 5.  We go into the next year with a new HC, new QB and a (for real this time) much better OLine.

I would be happy with TL, Bieniemy, a relatively high draft pick for Darnold and a really solid (heavily offensive leaning) draft. That's enough of a 'dream' scenario for me considering how rarely things work out for us Jet fans.

The high draft pick for Darnold is all but gone

By 'high' I mean a second rounder. I think that is still very much possible barring some awful injury.

I'd be happy to agree with you.  I just can't imagine a GM out there seeing Darnold play and say "yeah, I'll hand over a 2nd rounder for him to be our project QB, even though he's set to hit free agency after 2021."

Darnold is under control for 2 years if you exercise the option

Did Gase get to a super bowl and make multiple deep playoff runs?  I forgot

Go look at the drafts SF had before, during and after JH. They drafted 10-12 players during those years and drafted very well. This appears to be the track JD is on.

Gase could have done well with that talent. OL was solid. That’s what we need

The 49ers sucked before Harbaugh got there.  Alex Smith sucked and was considered a bust before Harbaugh coached him up.  Even Kaepernick - he was an elite qb with Harbaugh, once Harbaugh leaves he sucks

And yet you act like he inherited the ‘85 Bears

Doesn’t seem like he relates to young players and excelling at the college level.

Do you think Michigan has buyer’s remorse with that huge contract.

Call it what you want. Jim Harbaugh recruited this team. Jim Harbaugh didn’t have this team ready against a very mediocre MSU team. This program should not be here after six years. Period. End of story. It’s done. They tried. They brought him in to do more than this.

After yet another rivalry game loss for Michigan, this time to a Michigan State team that lost to Rutgers last week, Wolverines fans are starting to lose their patience with head coach Jim Harbaugh!
