Beerfish
But Jamal can play corner. The whole Jamal scenario shows how much of a wizard Gregg Williams was last year. He used jamal the way he likes to be used, almost never exposed him to risky coverage and got respectable results with jag corners. And of course the narrative now is that Seattle is not using him how he should be used which is a free lancing in the box always run forward safety. Which if used that way exposes your secondary badly to a good offensive team.
AFJF
I heaped a ton of praise on Jamal while he was here because he did do a great job with the Jets. However, as I said after the deal, I think the team saw his limitations in coverage and picked their spots when and where they used him. Noting wrong with that if you pick the right spots, but if you think you can just line him up against top-end receivers then this is what you're going to get. He's still a very good football player that I'd gladly have on my team, but is he good enough to get the money he's going to command along with the off-field theatrics? Nope. 3

McDougle’s suckage is actually exactly what this team needed.

Adoni Beast
First Todd McShay...now Daniel Jeremiah coming out with really subtle posts/articles that help Joe D’s cause. And yes what we got for Jamal Adams vs. Adams’ talent/productivity/flaws is an absolute heist. 2
JustInFudge
This whole situation is hilarious. The Seahawks look like morons. And Gregg Williams hit the nail on the head, Jamal learned they dont use their safeties the same way he does and he's paying for it now.

Beerfish
A lot of these guys are late to the party. The whole narrative even after seattles 1st disastrous 3 or 4 games on defnse was that ha ha ha the jets traded their best player.

Meanwhile, as bad as the Jets' defense has been this season, at least they've picked off 7 passes thru 8 games. We can't get stops on 3rd down to save our life but we're getting turnovers at a higher rate than when Adams was here, despite being one of the worst teams in NFL history. Two 1sts and a 3rd, baby! Also, no way Jamal gets close to the contract that he was demanding this summer. You can kiss top safety money goodbye.

Here’s to hoping Adams helps them lose another 2 games.

Not like an acquaintance or a close associate, or someone you had Biology Lab with but like a go out for beers and remember the old times type of friend so take his praise for JD with a ton of salt. GreenFish
That’s like 15 yards of separation. My god. The only thing comparable I’ve ever seen was the Jordan crossover of Byron Russell.
fltflo
Watched a little of that game yesterday and it looks to me that the only time Jamal Hustles is when he was rushing the passer. I was pretty awful out in coverage Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app

Rodgers did win MVP, but the Packers got bounced at home by the Giants in their first playoff game. The Super Bowl win was the previous year, when the Packers had an elite scoring defense.
