Never been done before this early in the season, wow...

...Sad that 20% of that came against one sorry ass team.

That doesn't sound right. 25 TDs in the first 9 games is excellent, but not a complete outlier.

Unless you're referring to the 1 INT.

Peyton had 33 in the first 9 games of his 55 TD season in 2013

Its 25 TDs with only 1 Int.

So its most TDs after 9 games with 1 or 0 INTs.

Didn't expect to see Alex Smith top 5 here.

25 TD in 9, by itself, isn't that impressive. Rodgers has 24 (and 2 INT) this season.

Passing stats are broken. It used to be a 2:1 TD:INT ratio was fantastic.

Mahomes, Rodgers, Wilson - It’s just too easy for them. Taking the piss.

It is impossible to compare players from today vs players I watched growing up.

Can't hit the WR.   Can't hit the TE.   Can't hit the QB.

That's part of why tight ends are so prolific now, they don't get crushed going over the middle, and they have less run blocking responsibilities, so they don't have to be as big as they were.

Cam & the Patriots LIVED over the middle last night! Love to see the Pats transformed back to the old Raiders days & pull that sh*t!

Hell, Davis hit was clean as hell! Turned his head so not to go helmet to helmet, these f*cking refs throw flags for HARD HITS now.

I disagree.

No, you're not allowed to helmet to helmet etc but players of today? Oh my God; They are much bigger, way faster and so much stronger than players of the older era (as athletes they've evolved) and hit even harder too (so much so where the NFL was forced to focus on Safety).

Those hits are just from last year.

Yes, the rules have changed from throwbacks era because if not, these kids would literally DIE on Sunday's within the game today if player Safety wasn't an emphasis but to act like there is no more hitting in the NFL is a myth.

Also, Mahomes is great but COME ON, he’s throwing to probably pound for pound best WRs in the league that runs like a bullet, the best or 2nd best TE in the league!, then Robinson, Hardman, CEH. A very good Oline, the defense has both Clark & Jones!
Ridiculous amount of talent on that team!

Well we're not talking about 25 TDs by itself.

We're talking about 25 TDs with only 1 Int, which has never been done before, and is impressive as sh*t.

Exactly

These records, or whatever you want to call them, arent surprising given how the rule changes the last few years have allowed the new breed to reach numbers that better QBs of the past couldn't even think of reaching
