Jets Claim Elflein off Waivers from Vikings

Deciding to add a reclamation project to their offensive line, the Jets have signed former first-round draft choice Pat Elflein who was recently let go by the Minnesota Vikings.

We've claimed OL Pat Elflein.

A first-round bust, Elflein found himself moved from center go guard after two seasons as one of the worst pivots in the NFL.  Things didn’t get much better at guard for Elflein who joins a Jets offensive line that has been wildly inconsistent along he interior.  With the addition of Elflein, it could bring an end to Josh Andrews’ time in Green and White.

Per PFF, Pet Elflein has allowed 102 quarterback pressures and 17 sacks in 44 career games.

"A first round bust".   Oh, now it makes complete sense why we signed the guy.  He fits right in with this franchise's model for success.

First of all, wasn't Elflein a 3rd round pick?  Or has Alzheimers set in?

Whoever wrote 1st round pick...  WTF?  Truth Decay!

Minnesota is fine dumping Elflein because they seem very happy with who is now their starting RG...  someone many people here wanted us to draft: 2nd round pick Ezra Cleveland. (Who we wanted to draft as OT).

disingenuous OP.

3rd round pick who had a very successful  rookie season at C until he broke his ankle in the NFC championship game. The following season the Viking took a C in the first round and moved Elflein to OG where he’s since struggled w injuries on both sides.

Was popular waiver claim since Jax, Wash, Bears, Fins, and Ravens all wanted him also. We of course win out since we have top waiver claim. So, there is an advantage to being 0 and infinite.
