If he suffered legitimate mental health issues, I'd be sympathetic.

By his own description it sound a lot more like he's just a mentally soft player who was pouting because his team went 7-9.

I have never seen or heard a person so much as Adams speak with such disgust for the Jets and has done so little for us in terms of trying to change the culture or even be the person that tries to stop the losing mentality. Weak minded people find ways to make excuses people who are stong-minded do not it's that simple. Jamal's heart was always in the right place. He wanted to win and I appreciated that passion.

The problem was his mind and how he dealt with his emotions.

The irony of all the hate that fans have toward Jamal is he saying the same sh*t a lot of us on the board have been saying for years.  The Jets and the Johnson's literally dont give a **** about winning, like not at all.  It's not a priority.  It's not even a priority to be respectable.  The priority is profit and NY is full of suckers who pay good money to be miserable, so they're in the perfect market to achieve their goals. 

I get people have a problem with Jamal shooting his way out of town like a bitch but man, can you really blame him?  If I were in the NFL, I do everything in my power to never play a down in the NY Jets jersey.  Sucks because they're my favorite team but it's 100% true.  

That said, claiming depression?  What a bitch.

I wouldn't discount his screaming for attention isn't a cry for help.  There's a maniac element to his rantings that can't be chalked up to  whining, stupidity, being an attention whore or some combination of all 3.

Where is the Jamal Adams winning culture narrative coming from?  Not once did LSU finish in the top 25 when he was there.  They did the year before, and 2 years after he left.  LSU is a big time college football team but his years there were disappointing.  Where is this "I'm not used to losing" narrative emanating from?

To me, he's a front runner player, that will jaw at opponents and hype up your team when things are good.  But to him, how to comes across is the biggest factor, how people perceive him as the leader.  If things go bad, his leadership ability is shifting blame all around and acting disgruntled.  Seattle is having a HISTORICALLY bad defense, yet he shifts the focus to the Jets.  

I don't care about divas if they back it up.  Randy Moss was a diva but he was a monster on the field.  TO was a diva but a match up nightmare.  I hate divas that don't actually improve things and then acts like everyone else is to blame.

Jamal may very well have an array of mental health challenges and I’ll applaud him if he wants to use his platform to bring awareness to those issues in a responsible way, but what he’s describing in these quotes—and what the unqualified fanboy McFadden chose to frame it as—isn’t clinical depression, it’s being a aoft-boy cûnt.
