predator_05
Which ones are you are most familiar with? I'd like to start a Civil War binge. I prefer books, but audiovisual content (or even a podcast) is fine. I prefer starting with the perspective of the Confederacy, and its most prominent figures, such as Robert E Lee. jetophile
I would definitely start with Ken Burns: 'The Civil War'. I'd probably end there, too. It's outstanding. It was restored and re-mastered five years ago. https://www.pbs.org/kenburns/civil-war/

RutgersJetFan
Anything by Eric Foner for Reconstruction. The Second Founding has to be the most accessible book about the 13th through 15th Amendments that I have come across.
