how the hell are they giving you a C+ for AVT @ 34 and Humphrey @ 66? Those are both steals that will never happen irl.

I think PFF is big on positional value and they probably have Tucker as a guard and with Creed they probably don’t value centers high in the draft

I didn't save the last mock I did but it was my fav of any I have done.

I traded down 2 or 3 times in the 1st but did not go for any future year 1sts this time.  Just picks within this year.

I essentially addressed all my needs with really good players, it was glorius.

Top end Wr (Chase)  high end CB (Farley) two high end oline (vera tucker and humphrey) high end TE (Friermuth) a good LB (Bolton) a couple of pass rushers Rb (Carter) A safety late in the draft, hybrid Wr/RB Felton

Ran a mock a couple of times knowing that Zach Wilson is the likely pick while still keeping in mind that we will be rebuilding the o-line, love the results in both here. Cosmi + Davis would be fantastic if we can work it. Creed Humphrey or Dillon Radunz would be great options as well.

Attempt # 1

2. Zach Wilson QB, BYU

23. Samuel Cosmi OT, Texas

34. Wyatt Davis IOL, Ohio State

66. Brevin Jordan TE, Miami

86. Amon-Ra St. Brown WR, USC

107. Trill Williams CB, Syracuse

146. Patrick Jones II EDGE, Pittsburgh

154. Chuba Hubbard RB, Oklahoma State

186. Reed Blankenship S, Middle Tennessee

Attempt #2

2. Zach Wilson QB, BYU

23. Samuel Cosmi OT, Texas

34. Wyatt Davis IOL, Ohio State

66. Brevin Jordan TE, Miami

86. Trill Williams CB, Syracuse

107. Kenneth Gainwell RB, Memphis

Starting to think the smart move is to trade back to the end of the first round and pick up another day 2 pick. Could see a team like Green Bay moving up for an offensive weapon.

In this scenario, traded 23 for 29 & 62. The picks are whatever but a trade back seems really appealing.

Okay..I drafted with the philosophy that Clemson, Alabama and Ohio State have the most elite talent on their roster at the skill position.  Keep Sam and surround him with the same talent that Trevor Lawrence, Mac Jones and Justin Fields had at those positions:

2: R1 P2 OT Penei Sewell - Oregon
23: R1 P23 RB Travis Etienne - Clemson
34: R2 P2 G Wyatt Davis - Ohio State
66: R3 P2 C Landon Dickerson - Alabama
86: R3 P22 WR Amari Rodgers - Clemson
107: R4 P2 LB Dylan Moses - Alabama
146: R5 P2 EDGE Shaka Toney - Penn State
154: R5 P10 S Trill Williams - Syracuse
186: R6 P2 RB Trey Sermon - Ohio State

sh*t this is nice! Not sure there’s enough talent available for teams to want to trade up to 23. But, we’ll see. The draft is always nuts.

Obviously I want Wilson, so this is not really what I would do. I think the idea of rolling out with Sam again is just idiotic. So I thought, what would the Parcells QB pick be? Outside of Lawrence that would be Kellen Mond. Simms also loves Kellen Mond. So I thought OK, what happens if I trade down and try to just overhaul the offense and build around Mond while getting some additional picks for next year. Wound up trading down twice and have to say the haul is amazing. And yes, I know I drafted 3 TEs.  We wind up with essentially a completely overhauled and deep offense and a couple decent CB prospects, We get an elite playmaker in Pitts, QB on rookie contact with only 2nd round investment, a significantly upgraded OL and depth at OL, depth at TE and a speedy change of pace receiver. In addition next year we would have:

3 1sts

3 2nds

3 thirds

What do you think? Obviously zero chance of this happening in the real NFL but trading to 4 and to 8 is somewhat plausible and the draft picks were right value.

Today's attempt, using the Draft Network simulator (no trades). 3rd round is later than I would want to wait for OL, but I liked the value of other positions at 23 and 34. I do like the guys I got in the 3rd - Christensen as a T/G and Myers as a C/G:
