Drafted  TE Pat Freiermuth for LaFleur's WCO.  Jets will not be retaining a Macc disappointment like Herndon.  So Jets could use a good one now.   He's a solid two way TE with playmaking ability.

Eitienne was still available when I selected Wyatt Davis.  I thought about it but went with Davis because the combination of Davis and Tucker should make any QB and Rb better behind that O Line...I al

I really hope we can trade down for once, in all of my trade down mocks, some just once, others twice I come away with one or two 2022 1st rounders plus and end up happy with  my draft and happy with

Taking Wilson at 2 and using some trade backs to complete new O line and run game. Also add some playmakers for the O. Saleh had better be really good at D because no help will be on the way until the

Seems pretty unlikely that Pitts falls to 11 to me, but it happens frequently in PFN mock drafts and I have to trade up for him. 23 + 2022 sea 1st

If we get Chase/Pitts/Waddle with a second 1st round pick on Thursday- god help my liver   That would be A-fuc|/ing-mazing. I wouldn’t even care what happened after

My final mock...JD lives up to his promise and gets lots and lots of support to his new QB.  We will count on Saleh to scheme up the defense this year then work on fixing that mess next offseason:

2. Zach Wilson QB BYU

26.  Alijah Vera-Tucker OG USC (Trade back with Cleveland getting Cleve's third rounder (#89) and sending #23 & #226 to Cleveland)

34. Creed Humphrey OC Oklahoma

66. Rondale Moore WR Purdue (don't love Moore but can't pass up the playmaker this late)

86. Kenneth Gainwell RB Memphis

89. Walker Little OT Stanford (Trade back with Clev nets two shiny new O-Lineman to protect Zach)

107. Ambry Thomas CB Michigan (Defense felt neglected)

146. DJ Daniel CB Georgia (Back to back CBs to try to address the woeful secondary)

154. Garret Wallow LB TCU

186.  Ta'Quon Graham DT Texas

I went all out for the big O.  3-OL; 3-WR; 2-RB one each Edge-LB-CB.  With trades.

I also want to say...GFY PFF...for giving a C- grade for drafting Teven Jenkins in the 1st round.

There's a quality TE in Pat Freiermuth.  A quality Edge player in Payton Turner who's been linked to the Jets.   Michael Carter a quality versatile committee Back.  A gadjit back with explosive speed Elijah Mitchell.  Dangerous underrated wideout Cornell Powell from Clemson,  Big speedy WR Simi Fehoko.   Another powerfully built WR with speed Jalen Camp.  Explosive athletic OG Kendrick Green and another solid zone blocking OG in Aaron Banks.
