UntouchableCrew 5,909 #1 Posted November 30, 2020 Let's say the Jaguars win another game (go 2-14) and we were able to win one game while still getting the top pick. Which game would you prefer to win? Raiders -- ruin their season by essentially ending their playoff quest @ Seahawks -- Make Jamal look silly beating them and potentially improving our draft pick. @ Rams -- Road win... Meh Browns -- Potentially knock Baker and co out of the playoffs. @ Patriots -- Take it down to the wire only to maybe knock BB out of the playoffs or saddle him with losing to an 0-15 team. BigRy56 6,195 #5 Posted November 30, 2020 Seahawks and I'm not sure it's close. Although beating the Pats would help our SOS more, I'm hoping we don't need SOS to get the top pick. Watching Frank Gore flatten Adams in an embarrassing route would be pleasing
mrcoops 4,565 #6 Posted November 30, 2020 Normally, I'd say the Cheats game. But the prospect of improving our second #1 pick is just too tempting - so I'm going Seattle. 3
playtowinthegame 5,980 #7 Posted November 30, 2020 If we have to lose out to secure the top overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, I don't want to win a single of the remaining 5 games.
Irish Jet 236,534 #8 Posted November 30, 2020 I mean only one of them directly benefits us. It's Seattle. Obviously. The Patriots would feel good, especially at 0-15 but nothing compared to potentially improving our draft slot.

This is a hypothetical where Jacksonville wins again. We have the top pick. Purely a question of which game you'd rather win.
DepressedJetsFan23 97 #10 Posted November 30, 2020 Only reason why I don't go Pats here is because of the internet roasting the jets calling it all part of bills plan. Jets would get no credit and everyone would praise the patriots. You could put your house on "Did Bill lose the game on purpose?" being a discussion point on first take

Anthony Jet 2,245 #12 Posted November 30, 2020 Seahawks and it shouldn’t be close We are heavily invested in Seattle’s record this year. Pats game is just a feather in a cap type thing
JiF 149,171 #13 Posted November 30, 2020 Depends; if we're knocking the Pats out of the playoffs, I'll take that. Otherwise, Seattle would be funny because Jamal.

Warfish 28,683 #15 Posted November 30, 2020 Pats, without a question or hesitation. They are a hated divisional rival ffs. Seattle is 100% irrelevant to us. We're not moving the needle on their pick that much to matter.
Beerfish 32,582 #16 Posted November 30, 2020 Losing the 1st overall pick due to a meaningless win on the last game of the year would be far worse than losing that pick a few games earlier for me as well.
Icer 3,018 #17 Posted November 30, 2020 Patriots...hopefully the Jags will have won a 2nd game by then.

Actually 1st and 3rd since we own both of those picks of theirs this year and the higher they are the better. I'll go with Hawks but only if Jax wins 1 more game that on their schedule may only be the Bears since that team is awful too. It would be nice if Jax could win this week at the Vikings, but just don't see it. Hope I am wrong.

slimjasi 10,092 #20 Posted November 30, 2020 If the Pats are out of the playoff race by week 17 (still likely, IMO), then Seattle. Otherwise, the Pats.
