Gaze: “He Gave Me The Three Plays”

I do give Gase a lot of credit.

To convince an owner/GM to give you a HC job is masterful, given his skillset. He should just get a HC job every year for whoever wants to rebuild. He can be the face of the league as a "Bridge HC". If QB's can live in that niche, why cant Adam Gase? 😆

Not bad. He can market himself as the Cleaner. He can come in and tear your franchise down to the studs, get #1 pick and then move on to another job! 😂

I would sooner forfeit the season than have this cancer in my building.

Not that reality matters, but the Jets are only 10th this year in 1st down run percentage, and 18th over the last three games.  They were 29th in 1st down run percentage in 2019.

And, 7 of the 9 currently more likely to run on 1st down than the Jets, have a winning record.  Of the 6 least likely teams to run on 1st down, only one has a winning record.

But does any one of those other teams have Frank Gore?

Wait.......this gets better

Jets coach Adam Gase said the team's play-calling is being labeled a "collaborative effort" because he doesn't want to give away too much information for a "competitive disadvantage."

That would entail the Jets being competitive to begin with. New York has teetered between play-callers since Week 7, exceeding 25 points in back-to-back games with Joe Flacco under center and totaling a lowly 22 points in Sam Darnold's three starts in that time. Averaging the league's fewest yards per play (4.6), points per game (13.8), and lowest scoring margin (-15.5) on gamedays, anything Gase claims at this point is strictly headline material for comedic purposes. Maybe Trevor Lawrence and a new head coach will change the organization's culture in 2021.

Hilarious. We should withhold the uniform colors we are playing to wear also for that competitive advantage goodness
