ScarletKnight89
He's basically operating as the number 2 back in KC. I watched him against Tampa and thought he looked ok. But it looks like his burst is gone. He's not the same player he was in Pitt.

Popular Post SoFlaJets
One thing about that Pittsburgh organization; they sure do know when someone is finished and when the time has come to cut bait. Neil O'Donnell comes off a Super Bowl and goes to The Jets and he ends up looking and playing like Al Woodall. Lev Bell leaves the Steelers b/c of $$ and signs with the Jets holding the best TPC average IN THE HISTORY OF THE GAME, Then he takes a year off and with fresh legs and a fresh body comes here and turns into an old man. How does that happen to the Jets time and time again? 5

Could you imagine the Steelers brass discussing the Jets contract for Bell? There is a reason that team keeps reemerging time & again & are now 10-0. No one drafts better WRs, or LBs, Edge, and they always have a tough minded Oline. I wanted TJ Watt just for his pedigree. Many here wanted Claypool though I think Mims will be very good. Trumaine Johnson, Le'veon Bell, CJ Mosely, this f*cking Macster had his hands in on the 3 biggest free agent busts of the last 5 years! Crazy!

It is why I have extreme worries about how Moseley comes back next year.

He might not even resemble a football player
sec101row23
I’m not sure why people thought that Bell would all of sudden become faster, quicker and more agile simply by playing in KC.

rangerous
yep, bell isn't doing any better. kind of exonerates gase for bell's lack of performance. it also puts all of that talk about his hamstring to rest.
Popular Post Jet Nut
Mahomes gives the ball to Bell, Bell pauses, lurches to the line, gains 2-3 yards and Jim Nance says, "look at Bell and that relaxed style of attacking the line. Just an embarrassment of riches for KC, Bell just didnt work out with Jets for some reason" 1

I guys Im not convinced that Bells situation isnt just a combo of age, over use and the desire being gone after the year off. I dont see why guys can lose 2 years to injury and come back but a relatively minor injury that you cant play through like an abdominal injury and the opt out will leave him useless to the Jets. Per overthecap.com it is a 20 million dollar dead cap space hit, resulting in 8 million dollar higher cap hit for 2021. It isn't a whole lot better for 2021, as that results in a 12.5 dead cap hit and only 5 million in savings.
