Very sad. I will always watch the Jets when I can, hope the players care as much as I do, and for heavens sake, PLEASE NO MORE ADAM GASE. Popular Post freestater
I'm rooting for losses until the genius is shown the door. Never should've been hired in the first place. Popular Post Defense Wins Championships
Nope. I'll never allow myself to miss Trevor Lawrence's first ever Jet games; Adam Gase just isn't worth it. Me and my older brother dating back to my Queens childhood days have watched every Jet game alongside one another over the years dating back to the early 90's. Every Sunday I drive to my brothers home with my wife and daughter and me and my brother watch the Jets together while my wife spends time his wife and my daughter plays with her cousins etc. This year? I cancelled plans on my older brother and skipped out on a Jets game. I didn't watch the Jets (on purpose) for the first time I could ever remember. After the game my brother called me over the phone to let me know watching the Jets lose by himself and without me there just wasn't the same for him. I felt guilty. He made me feel bad. I made a promise to myself on that day, that I'll never ditch my older brother on a Sunday for Adam Gase... Ever again. Trust me when I say. Letting Adam Gase force you to stop watching a team you've loved since childhood days just isn't worth it; we've all suffered too much as Jet fans over the years to quit now because once Adam Gase is gone? We'll still be here (he won't). Fk him. 2 2 2

I haven't bought any Official Merchandise since 2015, and haven't gone to a game in a few years. The intensity of my fandom has been in an 8 year decline, with a bump when we drafted Sam. Now that we've allowed the incompetent team of Bowles, Mac, and the epic jackass Gase to destroy him, I'm at an all time low. Keeping Gase would push me to total apathy. 6

Popular Post pdxgreen
No. I wouldnt ditch them. But I'd boycott 'till he was gone. Everybody has their breaking point. I couldn't watch another season of Gase. Twenty six years of this sh*t. Its taken its toll on me as a sports fan. I'd take a year sabbatical from pro football.
bgivs21
Absolutely. No tickets, no gear and although I'd still watch, I'm streaming every game so that viewership numbers go down
heymangold
I wouldn’t be able to support this organization anymore. With a completely inept ownership that for whatever reason would still hang out to a head coach this terrible - knowing the fan base absolutely hates him - I wouldn’t be able to be a fan of. I’m barely watching as it is now.

NamathToCaster
No worries. We are going to go 0 and 16 this year and if Gase is retained we will go 0 and 16 in 2021 making Chris Johnson look like a fool because he won't admit he made a mistake. I will never leave the Jets. I just figure I have to endure 1 and half more years because Chris is stubborn but will eventually let him go.

NorthCoastJetsFan
After almost 60 years of Jets fandom, I cannot conceive of rooting for a different team. There would be changes though. No more merchandise (the new stuff is butt ugly anyway). And since I live in Bills country, I wouldn’t do all the things I do to watch a Jets game. I was on the season ticket waiting list for 18 years and when my number finally came up it was PSL time. I have endured Rich Kotite, the buttfumble, the Mud Bowl, the Fake Spike, numerous draft screwups and other low points too numerous to name. This too will pass, I just hope that I am alive to see it.

ChuckkieB
I cannot entertain this hypothetical because it made my blood boil to even read it. I can't let the negativity get into my headspace. I'm still basking in the glow of the glorious "Lawrence defense" called by Greg (build that guy a statue at Met Life) Williams. Don't ruin my buzz, man. Popular Post Lith
In 1969, when I was 7 years old, we won a Super Bowl. Since then: In 1971, Joe Namath blew out his knee in a pre-season game, and I didn't ditch the team. In 1974, Weeb Ewbank hired his son-in-law to be coach. And I didn't ditch. 1976, Lou Holtz quit the team, but I didn't. 1982, Shula did not cover the field. But I kept watching. 1986, Gastineau roughed the passer. I didn't ditch. 1994 and the fake spike leading to a 5 game losing streak to close the season. I kept watching 1995 & 96. The Kotiite years. Yup, I still stuck with them. Doug Brien's two missed FGs in 2004 didn;t stop me from watching No show in the first half in Pitt in 2010. Didn't stop me either I watched a buttfumble on national TV. But I didn't go anywhere. IK punched Geno. Didn't knock me out. Fitz/Revis laid an egg in Buffalo in week 17 in 2015. But I came back The Maccagnan era and some of the worst draft picks/FA signings in team history did not stop me from watching the team. I sure hope Adam Gase is gone next season. But after all I have been through with this team, I am not going anywhere. 7
