choon328
I wanted to create a list of teams each week that we should be rooting for and against for strength of schedule purposes. Remember that divisional opponents count TWICE in this formula b/c we play them twice. No matter what, we have to root for our divisional opponents to lose and the Jags divisional opponents to win. WEEK 14 Jets 2020 Opponents Current Opponents Weekly Record (0-2) SF (vs. Washington) Root for Washington Colts (vs. Raiders) We need the Colts to win. 1-1 record for us but 2-0 record for the Jags Broncos (vs. Carolina) Root for Carolina Arizona (vs. Giants) Root for the Giants Miami (vs. KC) We need KC to win. 1-2 record for us and 0-1 record for Jags Bills (vs. Steelers) We need the Steelers to win. 0-2 record for us and 1-0 for Jags KC (vs. Miami) Root for KC NE (LOSS) 2 losses added to our total Chargers (vs. Falcons) The Chargers are a common opponent so this game doesn't matter this week Seattle (vs. Jets) You already know Rams (WON) 1 win added Browns (vs. Ravens) We need to root for the Ravens to win since the Browns are a common opponent and the Ravens are the Jags opponent NE (LOSS) Jags 2020 Opponents Current Opponents Weekly Record (0-0) Colts (vs. Raiders) Root for Colts Titans (vs. Jaguars) Root for Jaguars Dolphins (vs. KC) Root for KC Bengals (vs. Dallas) Root for Bengals Texans (vs. Bears) Root for the Texans. It'll give the Jags 2 additional wins and 1 loss Lions (vs. Packers) Both are on the Jags schedule and not ours so this game means nothing Chargers (vs. Falcons) Chargers are a common opponent and Falcons aren't on either schedule so this game means nothing Texans (Bears) See Above Lions (vs. Packers) See Above Steelers (vs. Bills) Root for the Steelers Browns (vs. Ravens) Root for the Ravens Vikings (vs. Bucs) Root for the Vikings Titans (vs. Jags) See Above Ravens (vs. Browns) Root for the Ravens Bears (vs. Texans) Root for the Texans Colts (vs. Raiders) Root for the Colts 3

QB1
Is it even possible for us to “beat” the Jags in SOS? We have to hope that the Jags win. 2
FidelioJet
only thing to root for are Jet losses. Anything else isn't relevant.

You have to remember this organization. Honestly, if they manage to get TL I would be shocked. First time they got something right in a very long time. TokyoJetsFan
This team has ripped my heart out so many times that I fully expect us to win the last game of the year.

Popular Post slats
How does this work? Is this like the power of prayer? Because I've been rooting for the Jets for a long time with extremely limited results. I don't think my rooting powers are very strong. 1

Jet Nut
Root for every team we played or are playing to lose. If there are two teams playing head to head on our schedule the outcome is negligible for us. Reverse it for the jags opponents Its not hard, is there a whole lot more to consider? Adoni Beast
The game to keep an eye on has been for weeks and still is Jax vs Bears. Bears are spiraling out of control and on the verge of firing their coach and packing in the season. Jax must win that one and end our anxiety. nycdan
Almost insurmountable at this point. Don't waste your psychic mojo on SoS. Just root for JAX and anyone the Jets are playing until the Jags win one.

They've been just as competitive as the Jets. They've been in just about every game for the last several weeks, I see no reason they're less likely to win than we are. bla bla bla
The best route for the Jets other than losing every game is to root for the Jags over Bears Week 16 or that the Colts lock up a playoff spot by week 17 so they rest players against the Jags.
